Daymar Ltd is run by David Pugh. The company also uses vetted suppliers and sub-contractors to carry out some services, but retains responsibility for all such services.

David Pugh is a chartered accountant who obtained an honours degree in accounting and finance at Leeds University, and then qualified with the City practice of Deloitte & Co. He then pursued a career in industry and commerce, covering positions as diverse as finance manager, financial controller, divisional finance director, and finance director and group company secretary. This has been in a range of industries including shipping, freight forwarding, agencies, logistics, warehousing, food processing and food manufacturing.

He has also been a participant in two management buy-outs.

As well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors, a Member of the Institute of Interim Management, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.

He is also a Director of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Chairman of their audit and finance committee, and Director and Secretary of the Institute of Interim Management. He is also a Director and Secretary of a range of private companies.

He also presents finance lectures for a management centre in London, and presents other lectures on finance to specialist and start-up groups.
